The Drucker Institute's Bendable Maine team will facilitate a workshop with planning exercises and feedback from librarians.
Please join us in person for these initial Bendable Maine planning session. In this first session, you will be able to get to know the Bendable team a bit better while beginning to influence the design of the platform to appeal to your local communities. Not only will you get a live demo and some perspective from Bendable's initial development, but you'll also have the opportunity to roll up your sleeves in a workshop setting.
Libraries are encouraged to have the director attend (or designee) and to also bring one community partner that would be interested in the Bendable Maine learning platform. Please register that partner register as well. The Bendable team is interested in partners like your local Chamber of Commerce, local economic development officials, local nonprofits. Due to meeting space and the nature of the workshops, we will have varying registration capacities at each location, but we will do our best to accommodate all registrations. The meeting will be held in Callahan Hall.
Note: If you are unable to attend in person, or the meeting is filled, there will be an opportunity to join in a virtual session later this month where you will be able to review results of these meetings and add your feedback to what already has been gathered in these 4 in person sessions.
Many thanks everyone. This is just step one of stage 1.
I’ll have a better outline of the months ahead after these meetings.
