Hello all - especially high school librarians and youth services
librarians who deal with teen readers,

I am writing with a quick and fun request. We've had our share of budget
woes (haven't we all?) and we have had frozen funds. Recently, there has
been an ever-so-slight thaw, and I now can spend a little money. I am
busily reading book reviews and best book lists, etc. However, even when
a book is well-reviewed, it is sometimes tough to tell if it will be
popular or not. So I decided to ask for a little help.

So here is my question : If you could have only bought 5 books this year
for your teen readers, what would they have been?

Thanks,

Cindy Carter, librarian, Wiscasset High School

PS. I will take more titles if you are willing!!
