The following are the leaders in the country from the weekly UPSIDA
report. The full report appeared in the Mass Lowell game notes,
and is listed as report #1. I don't have the time to type it all in,
but this should serve as a good start.

First, the following note appears at the bottom of the report. I
don't know if anyone might be able to contact UPSIDA and find a way
to have the report distributed in full to HOCKEY-L each week, but if
so, I think it would be great and beneficial to us and them. It's great
to see that UPSIDA is still doing this and I applaud their efforts.
Here's the note in full:

"'National College Hockey Leaders' is compiled and released by UPSIDA
(Upper Peninsula Sports Information Directors of America) each
Wednesday throughout the college hockey season. Categories either
reflect the top 15 qualifiers [edited here], or those who have met
an established limit. Skaters must play in 75% of their team's games
to qualify, while goaltenders must play in 33% of contests.

"This weekly report is compiled by Scott Monaghan, Assistant Athletic
Director at Lake Superior State, Steve Easton, Assistant Sports
Information Director at Northern Michigan, and Mark Kunstmann, Assistant
Sports Information Director at Bowling Green State, with assistance
from the four conference information directors.

"NOTE: To obtain this report on a weekly basis, contact Scott Monaghan
at (906) 635-2601. There is a $20-per-year FAX charge. Reports will
continue through the NCAA Championship.

"Please direct suggestions or requests for further information to:
(receives stats for)
Scott Monaghan, LSSU AAD, (906) 635-2601
Steve Easton, NMU ASID, (906) 227-1013 (WCHA, Hockey East)
Mark Kunstmann, BGSU ASID, (419) 372-7077 (CCHA, ECAC)"
