The College Hockey Discussion List Poll for March 10, 1993:
Teams were given 15 points for a first-place vote, 14 for a second-place
vote, and so on down to 1 point for a fifteenth-place vote. Total first-
place votes are in parentheses.
After nine weeks, we finally have a newcomer in the HOCKEY-L poll's top
eight, as RPI took over the #8 spot from Wisconsin. The Badgers wound up
dropping two spots, also falling behind surging Clarkson, thanks in part to
their one-point weekend against Michigan Tech.
Last weekend was the end of the college hockey regular season, after which
most polls are put to bed. However, interest in the HOCKEY-L poll has
remained pretty high throughout the season, and I'd like to keep it going
through the playoffs if enough voters are interested. I'm also working on
adding the HOCKEY-L poll instructions to the HOCKEY-L archives, so they'll
be a little more easily accessible. (No, Wayne, I haven't forgotten!)
