The College Hockey Discussion List Poll for March 3, 1993:

Teams were given 15 points for a first-place vote, 14 for a second-place
vote, and so on down to 1 point for a fifteenth-place vote. Total first-
place votes are in parentheses.

RPI came close to cracking the top eight stranglehold this week, but those
teams remain unchanged yet again (though the order has shuffled). The
seven-point gap between #8 and #9 is the smallest since the top eight teams
assumed those positions back in the January 6th poll. And I hope this
doesn't start a rash of Rodney Dangerfield ("My team don't get no respect")
posts -- but take a look at who's sitting at #14, making the poll for the
first time ever. The squeaky wheel gets the grease :-)

University, Minnesota-Duluth, Harvard, Lake Superior, Wisconsin, RPI,
     Michigan State

Dropped out of Top 15: Yale (#15 last week)

An odd trend continues in the East-West split, as once again, Michigan
finishes ahead of Miami among Eastern responses but behind them in the West.
Another oddity: Minnesota is also getting more attention in the East than
in the West.
