A fairly hum drum game from a spectator standpoint. It was difficult
to watch the six seniors (the winningest class in Michigan history)
enter the ice for their last regular season game at Yost. It will be
even more difficult in two weeks after the CCHA first round action is
concluded.

Michigan enters the playoffs with a 4-0-0 mark versus the Irish by
a composite margin of 25-4.

And, I must mention, had a couple of chances gone their way, Notre
Dame could have won this game. (How's that Coach? :-)

Merrimack note: I wore a Merrimack jersey to the game, and was greeted
by another MC supporter from Michigan who was the Boston Bruins stick
boy in the 1930s.
