Actually, it's been done already.  The ECAC career scoring record is held by
Cornell's Lance Nethery (1975-79), with 271 points.  Taylor does hold the
record for most assists (67) and points (108) in a season.
 
I doubt any current ECACer is closer to the all-time record than Belanger,
but to pass Nethery, he's going to have to pick up 101 points this season --
which might be possible but is highly unlikely (though he did have 75 points
a couple years ago).
