From what I have seen of how the Blues run things, Felsner's stint in Peoria
is almost standard.  The Blues generally take players from college hockey and
play them in Peoria for a year, and then bringing them up to the parent club the
 next year.
 
That is what they did with BG's Nelson Emerson a couple of years ago - he joined
 the club in time for the play-offs, but spent the next season in Peoria.
However, the stint there did him well, fine-tuning him for the Blues.  The same
will most likely be true for Felsner.
