I've often had the same question.  It's an obvious advantage to be a sponsor, so you'd think that
more schools would try.  I thought that the athletic department at the sponsoring school provided
manpower.  But then in the past I've gotten tickets for a Worcester Regional directly from the box
office, and it was treated as if I had gotten a ticket for any other DCU Center/Centrum event.

I've also had that same question.  I assume that the reason is that BU has some deal worked out
with the Centrum and/or RPI has some deal worked out with Albany.  Interestingly enough, though I
noticed that the 2008 sponsor in Worcester is Holy Cross.  Geographically, that makes a lot  more
sense.
