The Northeast Kickoff Hockey Tournament (I believe in its first year)
started the 1990-91 hockey season for the Bowdoin College Polar Bears.
Because of problems with the refrigeration system at Bowdoin's Dayton
Arena, the tournament was moved to Colby College in Waterville, ME.
Saturday's results:
Bowdoin 2
Williams 3
Williams, whose goalie successfully stopped 33 shots in the contest,
came back with two second period goals after trailing 2-1.
------------
Middlebury ?
Trinity ?
I only heard that Middlebury won.

Sunday's results:
Championship game:
Middlebury 10
Williams 2
I don't have any other information about this game
------------
Consolation game:
Bowdoin 7
Trinity 2
Jeff Wood scored three times in the third period as Bowdoin went
on to crush Trinity 7-2. Freshman Steve Pokio (sp?) scored twice
while Chris Kutu and veteran Brad Chin each had a goal.

This information was obtained from the Bowdoin College Sportsline.
Bowdoin plays next Friday night at the University of Connecticut.
Saturday the Polar Bears travel to last season's ECAC III East
champions, American International College.
