UNO hangs on to win 4-3 after nearly blowing a 4-0 lead. UNO moves into the
final home ice position with a tiebreaker lead over Notre Dame with the win.

Overall a good game, with some ugliness/sloppiness inbetween. BGSU's
goaltenders should shine Mr. Crossbar and Mrs. Goalpost as UNO hit at least
3, maybe up to 5 of the damn things. The biggest one came midway through the
third as a UNO defenseman just sent a slap shot from the neutral zone that
hit the top corner of the goal and then somehow missed the goaltender's back.

Bowling Green got screwed on that last penalty, Molina had to have been
making up some blown calls from earlier in the game, probably especially the
waved off UNO goal that would've made it 5-1. He was in no position to make
the call and the BGSU player clearly got the puck first. Can't say I wasn't
happy to get it though, especially since the posts had been so kind to BGSU
and it seemed like Molina had been too, but I have to side with the Falcons
player on that one.

Hrm, what else...UNO's currently got the last home ice spot with a
tiebreaker over Notre Dame. Should make next weekend with UNO at South Bend
a huge series. Hoggan didn't have any of his trademark hits tonight. Maybe
he was saving it for tomorrow so he could impress the Huskers int he crowd. :-p

Both teams got some fluke open net goals. UNO had a partially fanned
slapshot go right to a player by the side of hte net with the goalie way out
of position and the net wide open. BGSU saw Sidoruk catch the puck, get hit
by his own player, and leave the puck right in front of an open net.

Same two teams tomorrow night. Game will be televised locally on Cox Cable
O2TV in Omaha, and broadcast on the 50,000 watt blowtorch of the Heartland,
KFAB 1110 AM.

To all the CCHA teams, UNO welcomes you to the Bullpen. Now get ready to lose.
Everyone can have a bad century or two. Cubbies are gonna rule the 21st Century.
