No, not in light of the circumstances.
 
At most schools, particpation in hazing activities, specifically those that
involve binge drinking, will get you suspended at the very least, if not
expelled. These guys kids not only remain in school, but they still have
their scholarships intact and will be able to play next year. (if the
current decision stands, that is)
 
And are the hockey careers of the seniors being jeopardized? Hardly. For
those that had a shot at the NHL, they still do. They could bolt right now
and play for another team -- pro, junior, whatever. If they're concerned
about their education, it's easy enough to complete one semester of classes
during summer sessions.
 
For the seniors whose prospects of going pro right away were slim, then
they're not losing out on much. A few months until they graduate, then
they're free to pursue their dream of a career in hockey.
 
It's not like the NHL or anyone else will give a rat's behind about
whatever hazing activities these guys were involved in.
