Well, if there was ever a game to not listen to on the radio and go see a
movie instead, this was it for UNO fans. Fortunatly, The World is Not Enough
was a standard Bond flick and I got my money's worth, gotta love some of
those one liners, especially the last one. Unfortunatly, I caught the score
1 minute into the second period before goin into the theater. OSU was
already up 4-0, including 3 PP goals, only 21 minutes in. They held on to
win 5-2.
 
Not too much details on this end, as I did only catch about 5 minutes of
intermission and OSU's 4th goal. Needless to say UNO's penalty killers stunk
it up - no clue whether or not OSU's 5th goal was a PP goal, but it sure as
hell would be fitting.
 
Caught Paula Weston talking to UNO's PbP man Greg Harrington in
intermission. She sounded almost surprised at some of the questions, not
sure she expected Harry to be as informed as he was.
 
Figures the first time she sees UNO they stink up the joint. I guess UNO got
pissed about their 5 game unbeaten streak not getting any press, so they
decided negative press would be better than no press at all.
 
I'm wondering if this will get Kemp thinking about giving Rodney McLeod a
start finally. While Sid's admittedly had his defense breakdown on him the
past 2 games, if he comes up with one big stop UNO sweeps WMU and keeps
tonight's game close early and maybe it turns into a different game. I don't
care how bad your defense is, 9 goals in 2 games against WMU and OSU means
something. I'm wondering if Sidoruk's getting a little tired in net and just
needs a night off. Hell, even Patrick Roy gets a night off every once in awhile.
