After a few years of having close 1 or 2 goal games with Air Force, the
Tigers are opening the gap again in their new home, defeating the Falcons
8-2 tonight. Brian Swanson is doing really well this year, already with 23
points in 11 games. He scored two short-handers and an even strength for
the hat trick tonight (his second career hat trick) and assisted on two
other goals. After the first two goals we were starting to wonder if he
would end up getting a short-handed hat trick. 15 players in all collected
points tonight, a couple of them collecting their first points of the
season and Trent Clark (Darren's little brother) got his first career
goal.
 
Tomorrow night CC hosts UMass-Amherst in the first meeting ever between
these two teams.
