Shots on Goal by Period Saves by Period (with Minutes Played)
AFA 8- 3- 3 - 14 Marc Kielkucki (AFA) 13-12-xx - 25 (40:00)
CC 17-15-11 - 43 Sean Broderick (AFA) xx-xx-10 - 10 (20:00)
                                Colin Zulianello (CC) 6- 3-xx - 9 (40:00)
                                Todd Gustin (CC) xx-xx- 3 - 3 (20:00)
you know what kind of game it is when BOTH TEAMS change goalies
           after the second period

Head Referee: Tom Goddard Assistant Referees: Steven Fraser, Gary Pedigo

Scoring Penalties............................................Time
FIRST PERIOD
                P1-CC, Paul Manning (2-hooking)......................1:45
G1-CC, BRIAN SWANSON 10 (unassisted).....................SHG.........2:05
Darren clark deserves an honorary assist as it was really a 2 on 0
breakaway when a falcon tripped on the blue line
G2-AFA, NELS GRAFSTROM 8 (Joe Kramer 5, Dan Davies 8)................3:54
This was almost a power play goal and colin was screened
                P2-CC, Dan Peters (2-slashing).......................4:14
G3-CC, BRIAN SWANSON 11 (Paul Johnson 1, Aaron Karpan 1).SHG.........4:56
Coming from hard work in the corners and popping out to brian
                P3-AFA, Dan Davies (2-interference)..................7:24
                P4-AFA, Chad Shenk (2-interference).................11:13
                P5-AFA, Justin Kieffer (2-interference).............18:25
All 3 of these calls made the dallas - pittsburgh coin toss look
like excellent officiating. The third one was really a game
          breaker
G4-CC, DARREN CLARK 7 (Brian Swanson 10, Jon Austin 6)...PPG........18:57
as CC got the power play goal to go up two, you could just see the
life go out of the falcons
G5-CC, JUSTIN MORRISON 5 (Cam Kryway 6, Paul Manning 2).............19:22
and a "we've given up" goal
G6-AFA, BILLY OUREILLY 3 (Kirk Zerkel 3)............................19:36
          "but not quite yet"
SECOND PERIOD
                P6-AFA, Kirk Zerkel (2-high sticking)................6:02
                P7-AFA, Brian Gornick (2-cross-checking).............6:21
                P8-AFA, Dan Davies (2-roughing)......................6:21
                P9-AFA, Dan Davies (2-roughing)......................6:21
                P10-CC, Darren Clark (2-roughing)....................6:21
                P11-CC, Darren Clark (2-roughing)....................6:21
Gornick appears to have cross checked Brian swanson and then dan
davies keeps darren clark from taking brians head off
This gives CC 1:19 of 5 on 3 which, unlike North Dakota, they
          don't capitalize on
G7-CC, TRENT CLARK 1 (Jesse Heerema 6, Brian Swanson 11)..PPG........8:09
but trent is in the right place at the right time to finish it off
                P12-AFA, Brian Gornick (2-interference)..............8:25
and the 4th absolutely bogus interference.
G8-CC, IAN PETERSEN 3 (Berk Nelson 1, Scott Swanson 7)..............11:04
G9-CC, JESSE HEEREMA 3 (Mark Cullen 9, Scott Swanson 8).............18:01
THIRD PERIOD
G10-CC, BRIAN SWANSON12 (Mike Colgan 1, Jesse Heerema 7).............4:41
                P13-AFA, Chad Shenk (2-cross-checking)...............5:15
                P14-AFA, Joe Kramer (2-roughing)....................10:00
                P15-CC, Berk Nelson (2-roughing)....................10:00
these two were going at it most of the period and it was almost
        comical
                P16-CC, Cam Kryway (2-cross-checking)...............17:21
        this was a dumb pentaly
                P17-AFA, Mike Keough (2-roughing)...................19:50
                P18-CC, Cam Kryway (2-roughing).....................19:50
and this could easily have been 4 and 2 with cam getting the 4
                P19-AFA, Kirk Zerkel (5-checking from behind).......20:00
                P20-AFA, Kirk Zerkel (10-game misconduct)...........20:00
this was a frustration shot, and not an attempt to injure

Game Notes: CC beats AFA for the 16th consectutive meeting. Brian Swanson
records his second career hat trick and 5 points.
