Like I said, I just think it looks silly to have a poll ranking 20 of the 50
teams. Does it hurt? I don't know. It's hard enough doing 10. And try
getting the coaches to pick 20.
 
There's plenty of computer rankings out there that list ALL the teams, like
Sagarin Ratings in USA Today does for the main sports.
 
I just think that if we came to AP with a Top 20 or 25 and asked them to run
it, they'd laugh - and I wouldn't blame them.
