ND is BigEast for basketball and all other sports except FB and hockey.
As per a new agreement this year, ND can be given one of the BE bowl slots,
should they miss the alliance or any better at-large berths. They are like
Va-Tech (no basketball), Temple (football only), and Miami (no baseball)
that are associate members, in that they do not play all sp[orts with the
conference.
   ND plays CCHA hockey of course,  .but now there are enough squads in the
BIg10 for a mini-league, with OSU, MSU, Michigan, Minnetonka, Wisconsin, and
ND....not to mention that Penn State's been a dominant program at the ACHA
Division I club level. They won that title this year, defeating my Ohio
Bobcats in Ames, Iowa.
    They have a full set of Nike equipment, much like Michigan, and far
beyond what anyone else at the club level has. BTW, is the new hoops
building in State College able to be flooded for a rink?
