I forgot about this.  Speaking of extending it further.  In the '94 west
regionals, which were held at Mich State, I remember being there and
cheering for Lake State in the Michigan game.  If I also remember
correctly, the Lake State band did a great job of playing the MSU fight
song on several occasions even though we bowed out the day before
against UMASS-Lowell.  Great game, LSSU v UofM, overtime I believe, with
Laviollette (sp?) scoring.  I'm sure UofM fans are glad to see him
finally graduate this year.
