Junior forward Jeff Trembecky (Drumheller, Alta) has apparently been
"released" from the UAF hockey team for unspecified reasons, probably
related to philosophy. Nanook coach Dave Laurion cited "no one specific
reason", but indicated that the move is in the team's best interest.

Trembecky has been the Nanooks' leading scorer the past 2 seasons, and is
known for a scorching slap shot and deft moves in the offensive zone.

A source close to the situation tells me that Trembecky's scholarship is
not affected, nor is his academic status at UAF.
