The Wolverines on Thursday claimed their sixth recruit for the 1998-99
season with a verbal commitment from defenseman Jeff Jillson, a highly
sought 6-foot-3, 215-pounder from North Smithfield, Rhode Island. Jillson
had 10 goals, 15 assists and 33 penalty minutes in 24 games for Mount St.
Charles Academy, which won its 21st state championship this season.
