Except that Boston Garden sold out at 13,909  long before Robert Gordon

 appeared. When he showed up, the tickets became much more in demand
from the
 bandwagon crowd which of course drove the prices out of sight.  My 1970
tickets
in section 88, row c, seats A and B (center ice, first balcony, over the
Bruins
bench) were $3.50 per game each.
 
The old and the new real hockey fans are still here. I see them at D1
games,
DII-III, high school and juniors.  Considering the costs,  a family
excursion
to a Bruins game is often planned well in advance like a vacation.  I'd
rather
watch a high school or college game where all are trying every minute
than
see the pro's. However, the current Bruins crop has a good work ethic.
