A prediction - I couldn't resist. Since everyone else is making predicitons,
and I haven't had much to post about recently (being a Dartmouth fan has been
difficult in the last few years), I'd like to predict that Dartmouth will
split its home-and-home series with Vermont this weekend.

Last week Dartmouth was gracious enough to give Union its first ECAC win with
10 seconds left in overtime (with a little help form Union's goalie:)) and
then come back the following night from a 3-0 deficit in the third period to
tie Yale at 3-3, only to end up losing 4-3. It was the first time I've seen
Dartmouth put in two solid efforts (perhaps the 2nd period against Yale was a
little weak) in a row and the comeback of 3 goals in the third against Yale
was certainly encouraging.

Maybe all the freshman and sophomore ice time is beginning to pay off as
fewer mistakes are made and more consistent play is the result. We will see.
