I don't mean to start an all-out war against the Times Union, but I have to
say that this latest article really disappoints me. I thought that maybe Mr.
Croce would, as a respected sportswriter, make an effort to understand the
basic principles behind TCHCR. His article reflects his apparent unwillingness
and adamant refusal to try and understand something that obviously does not
make any sense to him. At the very least, we would think that if he can't
understand, he should respect those who do. But he won't even do that; instead,
he engages in senseless Hockey-L bashing. He didn't even refer to the list
by name! I guess, as the saying goes, "there are none so blind as those who
will not see." This is certainly true with Mr. Croce.
As for the Hockey-L bashing in Mr. Croce's article, I would like to suggest
that maybe our Hockey-L administrator, Wayne, would care to take this up with
Mr. Croce directly.
