I wrote privately to somebody...
        Michigan, North Dakota, Clarkson, and BU need 3 game winning
        streaks to become national champions.  Any other tournament
        team needs 4.
 
        The bye teams most likely will have to beat 2 other bye teams
        to win, and the non-bye teams will mist likely have to beat
        3 bye teams (or 2 bye teams and a team that has upset a bye
        team) to win.
 
at this point, the championship involves beating some tough
competition.  It does not matter where you play, or in which order.
You just need to win.
 
That aside, I just received Wayne's final heal rankings, and it is
finally absolutely crystal clear how the brackets were REALLY made.
Just look at the HEAL rankings and pair 'em off accordingly.  What we
need is a dose of emily littella explaining the seedings.
