The West, with three of the top four teams - not to mention #9 Cornell, is
clearly tougher -- but it doesn't mean the East is easy.
 
But, it should also be pointed out, that for all the complaining both Michigan
and Minnesota fans are doing, remember that Minnesota is the only team in the
West Region that has played Michigan, and not earned at least a tie.
 
MSU def. Michigan twice, Miami defeated them once, and Cornell played to a 3-3
tie.  Minnesota lost to Michigan in OT.
 
Not that this is a factor in any way for why the committee seeded things the
way they did -- but just remember that fact when saying how much Michigan/Minny
got the shaft.
