I'm new on this list this year so I never heard of it, but I was
a proponent on the Clarkson message board of awarding 3
byes to the west because of the (then) anemic RPI and
PWR ratings of the ECAC.
 
Is there some thought to doing like the roundball guys and
seeding teams regardless of geography?
 
Of couse I'd like to see a 16 team tournament, too, with 4
regional sites, but that is another thread.
