One should not define the range of 100% penetration as New England. The
Hockey East games on NESN are available for people on both pizza dishes
and the big C-band ones. This produces many viewers and probably helps a
lot with recruiting outside of New England. Empire is not available on
C-band anymore but is better than nothing as the pizza penetration grows.
Over the air broadcasts in New England, unless on WSBK, are not available
anywhere else. To keep exposure which Hockey East has enjoyed over the
years requires extending the NESN broadcasts or switching over to
Sportschannel which is also available on the dish.
