I was out of town this week, but didn't see anything posted so:
 
   In what could only be called UGLY ON ICE, MTU defeated Denver 7-6
       friday night I don't have any details, but 13 goals were scored
         by 13 people............CHALK THIS ONE UP TO FRIDAY THE 13!
           Of the 13 goals scored I and anyone I've talked to can say that only
              one of those was a "good"  goal.
 
   In the rematch Saturday night Denver defeated MTU 4-2 (Denvers 4th goal was
      an empty netter)  Denver led 3-0 after 2 and tech scored twice in the
      first 5 min of the third. Despite being outshot something like 34 to 17
       (i dont have exact numbers here)  Denver held on to win.
