In other words, they're absurd! (Of course, they're only polls)

The top three are reasonable (if not perfect), but what happens soon
after that is ridiculous.

What the heck are Minnesota and Colorada still doing in the top 8.
They've each lost 3 of 6 games ... to the likes of Wisconsin and
Minn.-Duluth ... and badly! CC can't sweep St. Cloud? They didn't start the
season much higher than they are now! What will it take to get them out
of the top ten ... a 3-6 record???

Ok, N.Dakota is perfect so far ... but #4??? Who did they beat? Two
wins over Denver is somewhat impressive, but the other 4 victories
come against 2 of the bottom 4 (including the last) in WCHA's 10 team
league. Give this team a #7 or #8 until they play someone tough. What
they hell is Minn-Duluth doing in there at all? They swept Alaska for
pete's sake. They split with Army.

Maine and Bowling Green deserve the #4 thru #6 slots with Michigan
State.

Let N. Dakota have #7. Ok, so maybe that's a little harsh. Maybe I'm just a
little confused with Minnesota still being ranked #6. If B.U. or Vermont
were 3-3, you wouldn't see either of them at #6.

So, if Minnesota loses one to N. Dakota next weekend, are pollsters
going to discount it because they lost to #4??? (Similarly in situation
vice-versa). What if CC loses one to Denver?

What is Maine sweeps Northeastern, or Mich. State sweeps A.
Fairbanks?

Well, in the nature of good-sportsmanship ... I hope N. Dakota and all the
other top ten teams enjoy their rankings and it gives their players much
pride.

Paul.
