    Most of the time it is whatever the players put down as their vitals - I
    think some schools will also add a few inches and/or pounds to players'
    numbers, presumably to try to impress people (scouts?).  It wouldn't
    surprise me if Minnesota, for example, did measure players with
    skates on.  Basically, I never take those numbers as gospel; they're
    a ballpark figure, specially the weights.
