    Parker's Achievement

The magnitude of Jack Parker's achievement of his 500th win
as a head coach is brought into sharper focus when one
considers the changes in the game during the last 23 years.

Parker has had to adjust to tremendous growth in the sport and
an ongoing refinement in the way the game is played and perceived.
From facemasks to television coverage, there's a lot that's
changed during Parker's tenure. His ability to adjust to those
developments and keep on winning is a strong testament to his ability.
