Sorry to double post but I forgot to mention a couple of important
things. MSU's game against Ohio State this Friday will be broadcast
starting at 7pm. Also, this will be the first hockey game ever (pro or
college) to be broadcast live over the Internet.

Spartan hockey fans from all over the world with access to the net will be
able to hear Friday night broadcasts thanks Audionet and the cooperation
of the Spartan Radio Network. MSU is the first school anywhere to use
this technology to broadcast hockey games. A couple of weeks ago we
started broadcasting Michigan State football. The two games (a loss to
Wisconsin and a win over Michigan) were broadcast without any flaws.
We've had alums tune in from both coasts, Australia, and Tokyo, Japan.

To use AudioNet, you will need a PC with a soundcard, at least a 486/33
processor, and 4 megs of ram. Mac users are of course welcome, with
equivalent configurations. If you are able to access the World Wide Web
then you should be able to use the Realaudio software.
To get started, you need to download the Realaudio software free of
charge at "http://www2.realaudio.com/release/download.html". If you have
any questions about the software you can see Audionet's FAQ file at
"http://www.audionet.com/faq/anfaq.htm".

The last thing to do is tune into the Friday night games at
"http://www.audionet.com/michstat.htm". Enjoy. You can send me feedback
at "[log in to unmask]".
