The WCHA has many good freshmen and young players this year. Northern
MIchigan University has 8 new freshmen and the young Dean Seymour who has has
turned into a good center and a good player. The NMU alumni news says that
the team has a total of 11 new faces two redshirt freshmen, 8 freshmen and
two transfers. This season has strated of badly, being sweept by Univ. North
Dakota and a 3-1 to Lake Superior state, but they collected their first
legitimate win aginst Ferris State. I hope that Northern Mich Univ and
Michigan Tech Univ. can put it together as they are both in the GLI in
Detroit this year, where they will face the Universtiy of Michigan and
Michigan State Univ. The WCHA has many young plyers this year, but that
doesn't have to be such problem if they have the talent. that is to be seen.
