I guess I didn't see this as such a big deal.  Realistically, if MNF agreed
to do this, they would be opening themselves up to all kinds of similar
requests and questions about why they did not mention all of the other
situations like this across the country.
 
The story has not been lacking in national coverage.  My parents just
returned from a drive to Texas to visit my sister, and my mom said they
heard of it somewhere along their drive back, which had to have been in the
Midwest someplace.  She also said that Lee Roy was on one of the three
national morning news shows today, she did not remember which.
 
The Roys have also said that they have received cards and letters from
around the US and Canada, which proves just how far the news has reached.
It is nice to know that so many people are sending good thoughts Travis'
way.  All of that positive thinking has to be worth something.
