Sean's ok.  I think he is better when he does baseball.  He is certainly
better than Emrick, and many of the other stiffs that have popped up on ESPN
and ESPN2.  My one complaint from last night is how he and his partner could
not stop talking about the disallowed goal in the first period, and how it
should have counted.  They were both so sure that it was not a high stick,
because the stick was even with the shoulders.  If they would have cracked
open a rulebook they would have seen that for the purposes of determining a
legal goal, the stick must be below the crossbar (rule 58 (b)).  Unless the
Penguin player was 4 and a half feet tall, his shoulder was irrelevant.
 Otherwise they were pretty good.
 
Being from Boston, and biased, I do like it when the announcers talk up the
Boston players.
