* Are we supposed to cheer for Minnesota now because they're in our conf? I'd
like to know who you guys are supporting
 
FUNNIEST MOMENT FROM THE WEST REGIONALS - The Michigan Hockey Pep Band,
sitting directly above and behind Kirk Daubenspeck in the 2nd period, began
chanting "DAUBENSPECK SIEVE! DAUBENSPECK SIEVE!" (not following a goal either
- just for the hell of it). Within 30 seconds the rest of the Coliseum crowd,
pointing as if SIEVEing the band, erupted in unison: "HIGH SCHOOL BAND! HIGH
SCHOOL BAND!" easily drowning them out.
 
Badger fan support this weekend was unreal!!! And, not a bad year for the team
picked to finish 6th, eh?
 
Some of you may find this hard to swallow: I was really impressed by the
Gophers skating cheerleaders Saturday. Then, in the 2nd game, out comes Bucky
Badger and I couldn't help but think how old and lame his routine
is...........sorry....
 
* What kind of recruits do the Badgers have coming in for next season? Is
Daubenspeck going to be #1 goalie?
