Despite the score, i really believe air force had the better of the
play for the first period and the first half of the second. then the
wheels came off.

Air force turned the puck over in the 16th minute and bruin mike flynn
fed bob merrill alone in front where he rifled it past falcon
netminder pat kielb to take the lead at the 15:16 mark. The second
goal came shortly after air force had killed off its second penalty,
but brown was up a line change and eric track was able to center from
behind the net to tony martino who put it under pat kielb at 18:14

In the second, brown got a 3 on 1 break that they converted at 2:49
charlie humber from dirienzo. Dan mcalister put the falcons on the
board at 6:04 picking up a loose puck not quite under bruin netminder
parsons and banging it home. peter sandness and andy veneri cot
assists. Just after the midway point mike traggio got the unassisted
breakaway backbreaker at 10:14. That took the wind out of air force's
sails and the rout was on.
jardine from mulhern & mckay at 14:05
bradford from flynn and jardine at 19:40

Trach from mulhern and jardine PPG at 12:18 into the 3rd
Andersson from humber PPG at 14:45
Jardine from mulhern at 15:53
and finally direnzo from martino at 18:57

officials were john seidel and robin adderson with linesman tim
swiador. They'll work the du game tomorrow.
