        Here at BU the band does something very similar to what
you saw at Bowling Green but not quite as refined. (We never are!)
Members stand with their backs to the ice and chant, "BORING!"
over and over.  It's been donw for a long time but since I always
have my back to the ice I've never noticed if most other fans do
it as well...when the opposing goalie gets announced I do know
everyone turns around and chants "SIEVE!"
        The only thing I've seen thrown on the ice here is a puck,
after leaving the ice...oh and an a random stuffed animal mascot
of the team we've beat from the student section.  I don't think
it's ever been a problem and we've got a pretty rowdy rink!
