P. S.  The fourth player in the Winnipeg-Detroit deal was defenseman Sergei
        Bautin (apologies to NMU fans).
 
P. P. S.  IMO, it's going to be tough to convince nine CCHA schools that let-
          ting UAF into the conference is in their best interests.  (I'd like
          to see them in, but then again I'm not flying to Fairbanks anytime
          soon.)
