Senior Goaltender Jamie Ram kicked out 31 shots as MTU took a 5-3 decision
over NMU tonight at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. Buzzy basically put
his whistle in his pocket and let the 2 teams play tonight. Some minor
clutch grab and hook and hold stuff let go on both sides, but it was
consistant. Yes I did say BUZZY! This was in high contrast to the
first series of the year when buz and yackle stole the show. There was some
great passing, scoring and goaltending on both ends of the ice.
Ram needs only 9 saves tomorrow night to be MTU's all time
leading save man. This with a save percentage around .900 each season.

The final game of the season is tomorrow night at Northern. Its time
for one more road trip, and believe me I'll be more polite to the NMU
fans i sit next to tomorrow then the 4 that sat behind me from NMU tonight.

We got together with The Duke of Earl ( Earl) from Hockey-l before the game
tonight with 4 other NMU fans and had a good dinner along with Walt and his
wife from here. Walt, dave fredrickson, and I along with our wives will be heading for NMU tomorrow afternoon. See you there.

In an interseting side note, the gane was started 30 minutes late, due the fact that the NMU BUS lost a wheel about 10 miles out of Marquette, convently in frmake that in front of TV6 in Marquette, so it was a highlite on the 6:00
evening news! ;-)
