With the Olympians coming back to UMaine, two possible hypothetical
situations could occur:

1) UMaine wins the NC$$ tournament, but could still have a losing record,
because of the forfits. Has there been an NC$$ champ in hockey (or any
other colligiate sport for that matter) with a losing record?

2) UMaine is the lowest seed in the HE tourney. Could BU refuse to play
them and instead play the #7 seed, because it would be (probably be) an
eaiser game?
I know that conscienously playing a higher seed does not occur.
However, usually (as in most other sports) when a team has to forfit this
many games games, they don't make the postseason tourament.
