The Redskins came back from a weak first period to show the Falcons how
they beat Michigan back-to-back last weekend. In tonight's game:

1-BG Jeff Wells (Helbing, Fry) 14:06 0-1
2-MU Barry Schuette (Rohr, Miller) 9:13 1-1
2-BG Mike Johnson (Williams) 12:24 1-2
2-MU Andrew Miller (Reid, Carter) 12:53 2-2
2-MU Enrico Blasi (Adams, Marshall) 17:59 3-2
3-MU Enrico Blasi 3:07 4-2
3-MU Shawn Penn (Miller, White) 19:45 5-2 empty net

Stars of the Game:
        3: Andrew Miller
2: Richard Shulmistra (Another fine night in goal)
1: Enrico Blasi (One of the little center's biggest games ever)

The 'Skins have their sights set on Ohio State this weekend and a run for
fourth place in the CCHA. BG gets set for Michigan on Friday and Notre
Dame Saturday. Both teams have clinched home ice advantage going into the
CCHA playoffs (along with Michigan, Lake Superior, Western Michigan,
and Michigan State).
        Miami (18-13-1, 16-11-1)
        BGSU (17-14-2, 15-11-2)

The Falcons shouldn't feel too bad--they defeated MU two weeks ago (Feb 19).
The score was 1-1 after the first and 2-1 in favor of Miami after the second.
With five minutes left in the game, MU was ahead 3-2. At 19:48 in the third
BG's Sean Pronger scored on a six on four goal to send the game into OT.
Senior Richard Shulmistra made 30 saves on the night, but was unable to stop
BG's Kelly Perrault from scoring at 3:24 in the extra period, making the
final 4-3 Falcons.

CCHA Tournament action begins March 11-13 at the campuses of the top six
finishers in the league. The Redskins and Falcons will not know who they
host until after this weekend.
