HOCKEY EAST LEAGUE GAMES (rematches Sat at other team's rink)
at Merrimack 6, UMass-Lowell 3
   Dan Gravelle is outstanding with a goal and two assists, Rob Atkinson
   likewise with two goals and an assist.  Warriors only four points out
   of 5th in weak HE, 5 pts out of 4th.  Chiefs lose first road game in
   HE (4-1-0).  Mike Doneghey stops 36 for MC but not tested until 6x3 late
   in game.  Box forthcoming.
UNH 8, at Northeastern 5
   'Cats win 4th in a row in HE, 4th in a row overall and cement their
   hold on 3rd place.  Huskies four points behind in 4th and dropping
   quickly, have not won in HE play since Nov. 28 - since then, 0-5-1.
BU 5, at BC 1
   Terriers unbeaten in last 11 (10-0-1), remain two points ahead of UNH
   to hold down 2nd place.  Eagles remain tied for 5th but only four points
   separate them and last.
 
NONCONFERENCE
Clarkson 4, at Maine 4 (ot)
   Golden Knights had their chance tonight.  Black Bears now 21-0-2.  Teams
   play again Sat night 7 pm.
at Providence 6, St Lawrence 1
   Friars have won 7 straight nonconference games this year after early-
   season losses to RPI and Vermont.  Saints 0-3-1 in last 4.  Teams play
   again Sat at 2 pm.
