The rule that I quoted (as of 89-90) was for games in the US.  There is
another rule concerning a 'certified foreign tour'.  These can occur only once
during a four year period.  An exception to this rule is contests against
teams in Canada (and Mexico, I'm not sure much hockey goes on there!).  As
with all NCAA rules, there are more exceptions than rules.
