The games were held at a number of venues around Boston.  The finals were at
BC's Conte Forum and, if I recall, the rink was about 1/2 full.  The
consolation round was out at the New England Skating complex in Marlborough,
MA (that's where the USA was, playing the 7th place game).  The big rink
there sits about 1500.

If the USA Hosts the finals again, it should go to the Midwest, where they
understand Junior hockey, where Jr. hockey has more local roots in the
community, and where the publicity would be better.

BTW the crowds in this year's WJC were average.  As expected, France did not
draw squat, while the Czechs sold out.  The link to the attendance figures
