Tony,

If by "autoseeds" you mean "autobids", and by "6 byes"
you mean "six at-large berths," I've gotta disagree
strongly.  Six at large berths is even less than we
have now; in a worst case scenario, the seventh best
team in the country wouldn't be in the tournament.  If
each conference has one autobid and it goes to the
conference tournament, a conference regular season
champion has only to finish at one extreme in the top
11 of the PWRs and at the other extreme in the top 16
of the PWRs, and most likely somewhere around 13 or
14.  If a conference champion can't go that, I don't
have a lot of sympathy for them.

And remember, if the CHA eventually qualifies for an
autobid, that would mean one or two more teams.
