BTW ice in the DC area is around 225 - 250 / hr.  Same rink for inline
rents for about 80-90 / hr.
 
If we cannot get the cost of ice hockey controlled, inline could be
poised to become dominant.

yikes, it just might do that at those prices!  we pay ~1/2 that in rinks around
Boston's North shore.  I've never inquired about indoor in-line rentals, so I
don't know how they compare.  though, I can't even think of a place that offers
it, perhaps because I do my blading in the great outdoors (freestyle, no
hockey).
