Merrimack 4, at Boston College 1
at New Hampshire 5, Northeastern 2
at Providence 8, Boston University 1

That last score is not a typo.

Mass Amherst was at Mass Lowell. No final, but it sounded as if UML
had it in hand. A UML win would mean that the Minutemen clinch last
and will play at the 8th place finisher in the preliminary round on
Tuesday, March 7.

Thus, idle Maine takes another step towards the regular season title;
3rd place UNH puts NU in a deep hole and is suddenly only two points
behind 2nd place BU; Merrimack vaults over BC into 6th; and PC pulls
within 3 points of 7th place BC.

NESN will have UNH-NU on tape delay Saturday at 10:30 pm. In
addition, I've learned that NESN will be showing BU-Merrimack next
Friday, 2/24.
