First of all:  Wow, what a great game!  Of course it was a little better
for the Minnesota folks than the Michigan fans, but the game was very
fast paced with plenty of clean hits.  I would have to say it was one of
the most entertaining games I've seen this year.  If you didn't get the
chance to see the game, watch the replay of it on MSC (whenever they get
around to it).
 
Now, my question:  Michigan's second goal.  The Michigan player broke
into the zone and got off a shot.  Callinan caught the puck and then was
knocked into the net by a fallen defensman.  I was under the impression
that if the goalie had control of the puck and was then knocked into the
net that there would be no goal, and yet there was a goal awarded on
this play.  Does anyone have an explainiation of this ruling?  Or was it
ruled that the goalie did not have control of the puck?
 
Just a curious hockey fan...
