Denver beat Colorado College tonight at the DU arena 6-5.  DU took a 2-0
lead in the first period, and CC would eventually tie up the game a few
times, but DU always seemed to get a goal back to regain the lead.  Scoring
for CC were Peter Geronazzo, Kent Fearns, Jay McNeill, Ryan Reynard, and
R.J. Enga.  Apparently during the first period someone's stick must've hit
Shepherd's head, as he was cut over the right eye and had to be attended to
by the DU bench a couple of times, as it kept bleeding.
  Hopefully CC will beat the Pioneers to earn a split when they play here at
the Air Force Academy Sunday afternoon. (Late report due to the fact that
our school only has 5 modem lines, which were continuously busy even after
letting it redial for about 45 minutes.....:)
